I and Thou

512px-Cupidon_et_Psyché

No Rumi, Jesus, Blake or Mary
This faith our lover’s song
Lost, found, burrowed for spring
Hallow the fallow ground to bring

What stays cannot quell
The brightest star in dark we see
Eternally ours these riches true
Mirrors of endless dance with you

If morning reverie fails to fade
Heaven’s door may never close
Where I and Thou in daylight’s brood
In love’s Will forever stay true
