Facebook

I have created a Facebook page to link my posts to. I see others have done this and have decided that it’s a good way to stop publishing my blog posts to my personal page.

IMG_20130824_091450_273I am not a big user of Facebook, for a variety of reasons, and perhaps someday I’ll write about that!

A big thank you to all of my dear followers and readers for making WordPress my favorite online place to hang out.

Peace,

Debra

    1. 🙂 Thanks Don! When I feel more assured that I can keep a civil tone, I’ll post about it.
I have old friends who I’d never hear from if it weren’t for FB, but I do think it’s one more thing that encourages illiteracy. There’s nothing quite like an old-fashioned letter!

  1. I too have not jumped on board of the Facebook phenomenon, also for various reasons–having been a high school teacher and seeing the ugly side of social media with our kids, my husband has said that is not the direction we are going with our lives (he and I), and from behaviors I have noted from a myriad of adults. I realize it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and that it does have its merits, I’m just letting it do its thing as I simply go in more traditional ways–for now. I know it would increase my readership, but for now, I will settle for a small window, as I’ve always felt God will direct the path….but I applaud you for the adventure 🙂

    1. I understand completely Julie. I do have a personal FB page along with the one I just created. I enjoy connecting with some of my old friends, as well as keeping in touch with family, local friends and sharing photos.
Some of the other stuff that goes on on FB is tiresome. 🙂
